Lahore Qalandars Announce Trial Dates for Next Player Development Program

Pakistan Super League franchise Lahore Qalandars has announced dates for the trials for the next batch of Player Development Program (PDP).

The trials will be held on October 20th, 2025 at Qalandars High Performance Centre located in University of Lahore with the team once again looking to unearth hidden cricketing gems from across the country.

This will be the first instance of the trials taking place without the visionary Aqib Javed, who has left the Qalandars sphere to take over matters at the Pakistan Cricket Board.

The Lahore Qalandars Player Development Program has already brought talents like Haris Rauf, Zaman Khan, Dilbar Hussain, and Mirza Tahir Baig to the fore.

PDP has emerged as a pioneering initiative in Pakistan cricket, aimed at nurturing young talent and enhancing the skills of aspiring cricketers. Launched in 2015, the program has been instrumental in identifying and developing players who can contribute to both the Qalandars franchise and Pakistan’s national team.
