Here are the Starting XI’s for Pakistan and England for 1st Test

The first match of the three-match Test series between Pakistan and England is set to commence in Multan on Monday.

The highly-anticipated series between the two nations is expected to be a close fought one with the Men in Green hoping to bounce back after a disappointing 2-0 loss against Bangladesh at home.

Both Pakistan and England have announced their playing XI’s for the first Test as the teams look to get off on the right mark.

England will be without their skipper, Ben Stokes as he has been ruled out of the first Test match after failing to recover from a hamstring injury suffered a few months back. England have also handed out a debut to pacer Brydon Carse, hoping to get value from his pace while adding some batting depth in the absence of Stokes.

As for Pakistan, exciting all-rounder, Aamir Jamal is back in the team after recovering from his injury, which bodes well for the balance of the team. Pakistan has opted for a three-man pace attack with Shaheen Afridi getting the nod ahead of Mir Hamza.
